BACKGROUND
The careers events are part of the Ready for Work programme which is being delivered by Working Denbighshire, part of Denbighshire County Council. Working with local businesses/organisations the Ready for Work programme provides additional support, mentoring and careers advice to citizens in Denbighshire to support them in developing the skills that will help them find and sustain employment in the future.
AIMS OF THE EVENT
- To allow students to meet a range of businesses/organisations from different vocational sectors
- To inform, inspire and motivate students about their career opportunities
- To provide students with the opportunity to take part in practical and interactive experiences in a range of vocational sectors
